Yesterday Daddy had a photo shoot in Van Vorst park, and we went to go spy on him while he worked. Sadly, our timing didn’t quite work out and we didn’t get to watch him take portraits of the founder of Happy Baby.
We did, however, get to spend an hour in one of the loveliest parks in town. (Nothing bad about that!) Van Vorst park has beautiful rose bushes in bloom and Ada got to sniff a rose for the first time. She wasn’t obviously impressed, but it was worth a try. =)
It’s so hard to catch those smiles on camera. Right before we ran out to Seth & Carly’s housewarming party a couple weeks ago, we got one. Honestly, it’s like capturing Bigfoot on film. We were so proud of ourselves.
Ada has started to bring toys, fingers, binky clips – pretty much anything grabbable and within reach – right towards her mouth. The hand/eye coordination to get the desired object in her mouth is still a bit shaky, but the interest is there. Today: stuffed giraffe, a New Jersey delicacy.
