Daddy has been working hard this week, so we needed to call up a few friends and arrange some summer playdates. Each day this week we’ve been visiting with mama & baby friends. On Tuesday, our mama circle came over to play. We filled the living room and imagined what life would have been like… if we’d had sextuplets. (Oy vey!)
Fortunately, each of the six babies came equipped with his or her own mommy.
Today we paid a visit to our friends Jaymie and Sam. They have a blow-up pool in their backyard, and Ada got to put on her swimmy suit for the first time! She sat in the pool for a few minutes, kicked her feet, and watched 9-month old Sam splash and play. In just a few short months she’ll be able to sit by herself and play with the big(ger) kids too! In the meantime, she looks pretty darn cute in her little suit.
Even a social butterfly needs to get her beauty sleep! (We have to say, this baby just gets lovelier all the time. Wowza.)
